Resource Report | Introduction
Primeline is the only foreign company that has made a gas discovery in the East China Sea basin and it owns the rights to the Petroleum Contract for Block 25/34, P. R. China. The current focus is to commercialize the gas discovery Primeline made under the previous Contract for Block 32/32 in the same area.
Located in the south west of East China Sea, about 100km offshore from the mainland, Block 25/34 has an area of 7,006km2 in water depth of 75m to 95m. The Contract was signed on 24th March 2005 in the People's Great Hall in Beijing and become effective on 1st May 2005. This Contract Area covers Block 32/32 previously held by Primeline and its surrounding area.
