Mr. Shen has over 40 years of experience in the Chinese oil and gas exploration and development. He joined CNOOC in 1982 and was exploration manager for China Offshore Oil Nanhai West Corporation (CONHWC), a subsidiary of CNOOC, responsible for exploration in the western South China Sea. He retired from CONHWC in December 1997 and joined Primeline as Technical Director in Primeline’s China Office. In 2002 he was appointed Chief Representative in China and from Feb 2012, he became an advisor to Primeline in Shanghai.
